The Motorola Backflip runs on the Android operating system, developed in part by Google. Downloadable applications, full customisation and support for Google sevices such as Google Maps, G-Mail and Google Search are all Possible with Android. The Backflip also features a full QWERTY keyboard making emails, messaging and web browsing effortless.
MOTOBLUR
Thanks to MotoBlur, the Backflip puts everything where you want it. MotoBlur syncs contacts, feeds, emails, photos and much more, from sources like FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace and GMail. There are no logins or apps to open, it's all centre stage on your home screen and intergrated throughout the entire phone and your data is always safe.
